Snowed In

Maywood and Chicago are snowed in.  So, I decided the best use of my indoor time besides working on my new novel, ‘Ruby and Jared,’ was to work on my closet.  In the latest chapter of Ruby and Jared, Ruby has an encounter with Arabella Anderson’s closet.

RUBY STOOD OUTSIDE of her new charge’s room and listened.  Nothing.  Lucas Anderson was a quiet baby, or so she assumed.  She was about to head downstairs to the kitchen an ask Mabel if there was anything she could do to help with dinner when she noticed that the door to Jared Anderson’s bedroom was ajar.  Well, slightly ajar, that is.
